Position: Country Manager, UK Sales


Reporting to: Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales 


Summary

Achieve revenue objectives within targeted verticals through the sale of mobile computing products and services ensuring customers find the right combination to support their specific mobile computing needs.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage geographical territory based out of assigned region – Northern Europe
  • The Country Manager, Northern Europe will be responsible for territory including account analysis and strategy, account penetration and development of executive level relationships
  • Drive revenue throughout designated territory within targeted verticals and large companies
  • Build and manage a re-seller channel
  • Drive revenue throughout designated territory within targeted verticals
  • Manage assigned territory including:
    - Develop channels and business partnerships
    - Create and drive programs to generate end user demand
    - Work closely with Motion corporate to represent the regional requirements
    - Handle PR for the region in conjunction with HQ marketing
  • Develop complete mobile computing solutions for customers enabling them to increase productivity
  • Have knowledge of the following verticals: Health and Life Sciences, Retail and Distribution, Mobile Sales and Service, Utilities, Construction, Manufacturing and Government
  • Build Motion brand in the region
  • Be the Motion person in the region

Qualifications and Experience

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of related education and experience
  • Minimum 8 years sales experience with record of quota attainment
  • Minimum 8 years sales experience with a manufacturer of PC and/or wireless products/pen-based products or associated products
  • Experience calling on C-level executives within targeted markets
  • Experience with large account and channel sales
  • Experience selling into Insurance, Medical/Healthcare, Field Sales, Education, Field Service and Field Computing markets
  • Experience managing a geographical territory
  • Must currently live and work in the region
  • Capable of working in fast paced, multi-disciplined, ambiguous work environment
